Scheduled to Move In by January Next Year
Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, is recruiting youth organizations to move into the ‘Youth 1st Street (Youth Store)’ until the 19th.
According to the county on the 10th, Youth 1st Street, located within Seonunsa Provincial Park, is Gochang-gun’s first youth store, opened last year to enhance young people’s entrepreneurial capabilities and provide income-generating opportunities.
This recruitment is to select a new youth organization to operate Youth 1st Street, as the lease contract period for the existing tenant, the Gochang-gun Youth Policy Council, expires this month. Eligibility requires the representative to be a youth (aged 18?45), and the youth organization or corporation must consist of at least 50% youth members among the participants.
Applications are accepted from those wishing to use the space for exhibiting and selling Gochang-gun specialty products or agricultural, fishery, and livestock products.
If selected as a tenant through a two-stage screening process, organizations can stay for up to three years. Those interested should check the announcement posted on the county office website and submit the relevant documents to the Youth Startup Team of the New Vitality Economic Policy Division at the county office.
County Governor Shim Deok-seop said, “We hope Youth 1st Street will greatly contribute to increasing youth income, expanding sales channels for products, and revitalizing the local economy through mutual growth with surrounding stores in Seonunsa.” He added, “We look forward to the enthusiastic interest of young people.”
