The main topics include ▲ the prohibition of false caller ID system and major violation cases ▲ voice phishing cases (Gangwon Police Agency) ▲ and voice phishing countermeasures in the telecommunications sector.
Kim Jeong-sam, Director of the Central Radio Management Office, emphasized, "To prevent the misuse of telecommunication services as a means of crime such as voice phishing and to safely protect the public from criminal damage, active cooperation from telephone and text message service providers is necessary."
