Lee Jun-seok, a lawmaker from the Reform New Party, commented on the opposition's announcement to reintroduce an impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol, saying, "A situation has come where even impeachment is a luxury," and added, "He should voluntarily resign before being arrested."

On the 10th, during SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show,' Lee said, "Even if he begs with his own hands, saying 'Please save the people,' they might not save him." When asked, "Are you saying that President Yoon should voluntarily resign if an arrest warrant is issued for former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun before the second impeachment vote?" he urged, "Why keep adding conditions? He must resign immediately."

However, he also said, "The probability of President Yoon voluntarily resigning is low," explaining, "Because until now, the probability that President Yoon does what I tell him is less than 5%."

Lee described President Yoon as "a rare opportunist," stating, "No matter how unfavorable the situation is, he lives with the thought that he still has one last move left, so he must still be expecting some kind of big play." He added, "Whenever the issue of election fraud arises, President Yoon probably thinks that public opinion will immediately turn around, patriotic conservatives will rise like martial law troops, arrest all the lawmakers, and reinstate him," sarcastically remarking, "Dreaming is free."

He criticized, "Our people are watching day by day as the economy collapses due to a foolish coup," and said, "The exchange rate has risen by 6 to 7% now, which has a huge impact on consumer prices. It is a situation that the people find hard to endure."

Regarding the start of the procedure to elect a new floor leader following the resignation of Floor Leader Choo Kyung-ho, he asserted, "Anyone who takes on the floor leader position now must be prepared to retire from politics."

On the so-called 'pro-Yoon (pro-Yoon Seok-yeol faction) floor coup scenario,' he said, "Since this presupposes President Yoon's arrest, it is more of a delusion than a strategy," and pointed out, "The floor leader pushed up by people lost in such delusions has the obligation to realize those delusions, so they will appear to the public as mentally unstable."
