Jeong Jong-bok, the mayor of Gijang-gun, received the certificate of excellence for the Korea Local Autonomy Competitiveness Index on the 9th.

Gijang-gun was recognized for its high local autonomy competitiveness in the Korea Local Autonomy Competitiveness Index (KLCI) evaluation conducted nationwide across 226 cities, counties, and districts, ranking first in the country in the county-level management performance category.
