Donation of 350 Million Won Delivered... Total Exceeds 2.3 Billion Won
Volvo Cars Korea donated 350 million KRW to support the rehabilitation and independence of people with disabilities.
On the 10th, Volvo Korea announced that it signed an agreement with the Purme Foundation on the 3rd to support assistive devices for children with disabilities and delivered the donation.
The donated funds will be used for customized assistive devices for about 100 children and adolescents with disabilities under the age of 18, as well as operating expenses for a children's rehabilitation hospital. Applications for assistive devices will be accepted through social welfare organizations until the 18th. Detailed information about the support can be found on the Purme Foundation's website.
Previously, since 2017, Volvo Korea has partnered with the Purme Foundation to support children and adolescents with disabilities, with cumulative donations exceeding 2.3 billion KRW. Lee Yun-mo, CEO of Volvo Korea, stated, "We will continue to pay attention to various social issues and carry out diverse social contribution activities that can contribute to the local community."
