The "Lifelong Learning Arts Festival" is an event to share the achievements of lifelong learning, with participation from Jeonnam National University Lifelong Education Center and 26 local organizations and clubs.

The festival honored individuals who contributed to the development of lifelong education and the spread of learning culture among residents this year. It featured diverse performances by 17 teams across six categories, including harmonica, traditional Samdo Seoljanggu and Bukchum Nongak, and dance. The exhibition hall was filled with works from eight clubs, including calligraphy, poetry, art, quilting, and tea ceremony.

Governor Shin Woo-cheol stated, "Lifelong learning not only enhances individual capabilities but also serves as a driving force for the region to advance into a more refined society," adding, "We will spare no support to ensure that residents can enjoy a happy daily life and improve their quality of life through lifelong learning."

Meanwhile, Wando County was designated as a new lifelong learning city by the Ministry of Education in 2017 and was selected as an excellent city/county for lifelong learning activation by Jeonnam Province for two consecutive years, 2022 and 2023.
