Apple Developer Academy 3rd Cohort Presentation Held in Pohang

9-Month Academy Program... Building Foundations in Various Fields Such as Coding, Design, and Marketing

This year’s graduates, numbering around 190 and ranging in age from 19 to 53, came from various regions both domestic and abroad, with diverse majors, educational backgrounds, and career experiences.

During the program, the academy learners utilized Apple’s technology to solve real community issues or develop various apps aimed at startups.

All the apps presented at the 3rd showcase have either been released on the App Store or are about to be launched. Notable examples include TinyClean, an app that helps children with ADHD develop proper cleaning and daily habits; Hanbae, a metronome app that teaches the unique rhythmic system of Korean traditional music; and Inner Star, a journal app that offers an immersive space experience using Apple Vision Pro.

Additionally, this year’s showcase featured insight sessions that provided local business representatives with opportunities to collaborate with the academy and its graduates, as well as to recruit talent across various fields.

Jang Sang-gil, Vice Mayor of Pohang, said, “We congratulate the academy learners on completing the 3rd Apple Developer Academy program, and Pohang City will continue to actively support the successful partnership between Apple and Pohang.”

The Apple Developer Academy is the only academy established in South Korea through a partnership between Apple and POSTECH.

Over a nine-month program, academy learners immerse themselves in various fields such as development, design, planning, marketing, and AI.
