SBA "Actively Supporting Seoul Startups' Success"
The Seoul Metropolitan Government will operate the largest-ever exhibition hall for Seoul-based advanced startups at CES, the world's largest consumer electronics and information and communication technology (ICT) exhibition. CES (Consumer Electronic Show) is the world's largest tech expo held annually every January in Las Vegas, USA.
On the 8th, Seoul announced that it will create a 1,040㎡ Seoul Integrated Pavilion at the startup-focused exhibition hall "Eureka Park" at 'CES 2025,' held in Las Vegas from February 7 to 10, expanding the space by more than 50% compared to the previous year.

This integrated pavilion is the largest among the Seoul Integrated Pavilions that Seoul has operated since participating in CES in 2020. Through CES 2025, Seoul plans to showcase technologies in AI, lifestyle, healthcare, and more, based on the concentrated capabilities of its startup ecosystem as an advanced technology city, and support startups' entry into the global market through various on-site programs such as investor matching and global competitions.
The exhibition will feature 104 startups from a total of 16 partner organizations, including three Seoul districts (Gangnam, Geumcheon, Gwanak), five startup support organizations (SBA, Seoul Tourism Foundation, Seoul Bio Hub, Seoul AI Hub, Campus Town Growth Center), and eight universities (Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Kookmin University, Dongguk University, Sogang University, University of Seoul, Yonsei University, Chung-Ang University). Seoul will operate a supporter program that matches university student supporters one-on-one with exhibiting companies to assist with business consultations and on-site operations.
In particular, 103 outstanding university student supporters from the eight partner universities (Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Kookmin University, Dongguk University, Sogang University, University of Seoul, Yonsei University, Chung-Ang University) will support all aspects of the companies' on-site exhibitions. Companies participating in the Seoul Integrated Pavilion will receive comprehensive support for exhibition operations, including booth setup, innovation award consulting, pre/on-site/post buyer matching, on-site IR presentations, and media promotion.
The number of innovation awards won is also the highest ever. Among the companies participating in the Seoul Integrated Pavilion exhibition, 21 startups that received innovation award consulting will be awarded innovation awards. The CES Innovation Award is given annually by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the exhibition organizer, to technologies and products that demonstrate technical excellence, aesthetics, and innovation.
Earlier, the Seoul Business Agency held the 'CES 2025 Seoul Integrated Pavilion Launch Ceremony' on November 29 at Sogang University’s Jeongsangha Hall to announce the operation plan for the CES 2025 Seoul Integrated Pavilion and to facilitate pre-networking among participating organizations and companies. The launch ceremony provided guidance on support for participating companies and included training to enhance IT trends and business capabilities for smooth exhibition operations. Kim Hyun-woo, CEO of the Seoul Business Agency, emphasized, "CES 2025 will be an important stage to showcase Seoul’s and, more broadly, South Korea’s innovative technologies and startup ecosystem to the global market," adding, "We will actively support Seoul startups with advanced innovative technologies to continue creating global success stories."
