The Democratic Party of Korea requested its aides and party officials to gather at the main building of the National Assembly ahead of the re-vote on the 'Special Investigation Law on First Lady Kim Keon-hee' and the impeachment vote on President Yoon Seok-yeol, scheduled for 5 p.m. on the 7th.
The Democratic Party Aides Council notified, "All aides, except for one essential staff member per lawmaker's office, are requested to assemble in the Rotunda Hall by 4:30 p.m. to ensure safety during the voting process."
They added, "Aides who were managing safety at rallies outside the National Assembly are also asked to return to the Rotunda Hall."
Aides from the People Power Party are also scheduled to gather at the Rotunda Hall of the main building by 4 p.m. that day. This is interpreted as a measure to minimize clashes in case of any unforeseen incidents between the two sides.
The council stated, "In case of any incidents, we request that you focus on documenting and responding to the situation," adding, "The unity and determination to protect democracy and constitutional order are more important than ever."
