Hanam Disabled Welfare Center Holds 'Project Performance Report Meeting and Night of Shining Sharing'

Gyeonggi Hanam City Disabled Welfare Center (Director Min Bok-gi) announced on the 7th that it held the ‘2024 Project Performance Report and Night of Sharing’ event on the 4th at the welfare center’s sports activity room, inviting sponsors and volunteers. This event was a meaningful occasion to share the achievements of Hanam City’s disability welfare projects and to express gratitude to sponsors and volunteers.

Lee Hyun-jae, Mayor of Hanam City, Geum Gwang-yeon, Chairperson of Hanam City Council, heads of related institutions, sponsors, volunteers, and other community stakeholders attended the event. The program began with a harmonica performance by the welfare center’s Youth University students and lifelong education program participants, followed by awards for outstanding activists, presentation of appreciation plaques to sponsoring companies, project performance reports, and a meal with sponsors and volunteers, among other diverse activities.


Mayor Lee Hyun-jae stated at the event, “The development of Hanam City Disabled Welfare Center is thanks to the dedication of volunteers and sponsors,” and expressed his commitment, saying, “Hanam City will continue to actively support disability welfare and community development.”


Director Min Bok-gi said, “Thanks to the sponsors and volunteers, the welfare center has been able to grow significantly,” and added, “We ask for continued interest and support so that warm hearts can be delivered to people with disabilities in Hanam City.”


Along with the event, various works carefully prepared throughout the year by users of the Day Care Center, Vocational Adaptation Training, Youth University, Dodam Classroom, and Youth After-School Activity Services were exhibited in the welfare center’s first-floor lobby, enhancing the year-end atmosphere.


In particular, this project performance report served as an opportunity to share the welfare center’s achievements and future plans with Hanam citizens, once again emphasizing the welfare center’s role in collaboration with the local community.
