Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Conducts Online Voting for Innovation Policies... Until the 15th Gwangsan-gu Office Building in Gwangju.

Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, is conducting an online citizen vote until the 15th to select innovative policies introduced this year.


According to the district on the 6th, among the projects implemented this year, a total of 20 have been confirmed, including △Establishment of a future development plan for the East △Creation of a sustainable job special zone △Expansion of alley-type shopping districts and revitalization of the local economy △1313 Neighbor Care △Let's Share Gwangsan! One Thousand Won Meal Project △Comprehensive measures to eradicate illegal advertisements in 2024.


Any citizen can vote through the website. Each person can select up to three policies. The policy with the highest score will be selected as the 'Innovation Grand Prize.'


Park Byung-gyu, the district mayor, said, “This evaluation will serve as a measure to gauge the current state of Gwangsan during the 8th term of the elected administration, which has aimed for citizen-centered governance,” adding, “We will accelerate the discovery and implementation of policies that create beneficial changes felt by citizens and breathe new vitality into the region.”
