Baek Young-hyun, Pocheon Mayor, Continues Corporate Communication Efforts by Listening to Business Difficulties

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) visited CLOVE Food Co., Ltd. and Haetsal Food System Co., Ltd., located in Gunnae-myeon, on the 5th to listen to and resolve corporate difficulties.

The visit was attended by Baek Young-hyun, Mayor of Pocheon, Jo Young-je, Head of Corporate Support Division, Lee Yoon-kyung, Head of Gunnae-myeon, Kim Young-hwan, Village Chief of Yongjeong 2-ri, and Lee Je-don, Village Chief of Yongjeong 3-ri.

Jo Gi-cheon, CEO of CLOVE Food Co., Ltd., conveyed difficulties such as ▲ risk of accidents when vehicles enter and exit due to parked cars along the Yongjeong Industrial Complex road ▲ request for inspection of aged sewage manholes ▲ burden caused by the higher price of business-use garbage bags compared to regular garbage bags.

Lee Soong-woo, CEO of Haetsal Food System Co., Ltd., reported difficulties including ▲ lack of transportation during commuting hours ▲ securing land to expand production capacity.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “We will prepare measures such as creating roadside parking lots in the Yongjeong Industrial Complex and cracking down on illegal parking. We will also provide maximum support through practical review by relevant departments for other difficulties.”

Meanwhile, CLOVE Food Co., Ltd., established in 1979, is a food manufacturing company producing fish cakes and other products. It expanded and relocated from Cheongnyangni to Pocheon in 2022, and its products are exported not only domestically but also to countries such as the Philippines and Mongolia. It also received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award this year.

Haetsal Food System Co., Ltd., established in 2002 and relocated to Pocheon in 2010, is a food manufacturing company mainly producing processed meat products. In 2016, it received the 14th Pocheon City Small and Medium Enterprise Award. Its products are sold online domestically or through OEM contracts with various companies, generating sales revenue.
