Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Kwang-deok) announced on the 6th that on the 5th, it conducted a customized visiting education session on how to use road name addresses and smart address information facilities for senior citizens at the Palya 1-ri Village Hall in Jinjeop-eup.

This education was prepared to easily explain to the elderly how to use the 'Smart Address Information Facility-based Administrative Service Platform,' which the city built for the first time nationwide.
The education content consisted of how to use the smart address information facilities installed in Jinjeop-eup and how to read road name addresses such as building number plates, tailored to the seniors' level to be applicable in daily life.
In addition, promotional materials for the smart address information facilities embedded with QR codes were provided to the elderly so they could easily check information using smartphones. Through this, the seniors had the opportunity to access various information, including welfare benefits, city administration news, and the footsteps of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong.
A Namyangju City official stated, "Taking this education as an opportunity, we plan to conduct continuous and regular customized on-site experiential education for children and the elderly in the future."
Previously, the city had established a new concept of regional safety management system and administrative service platform using the 'Jinjeop-eup Community Safety Network' and address information facilities (such as building number plates) in Palya-ri, Jinjeop-eup.
