Connecting Gimhae Youth and Miryang Companies… Gimhae Employment Center Hosts 'Metropolitan Matching Recruitment Event'

'Job Demand Day'... Comprehensive Conduct of Interview Consulting, Company Briefings, and On-site Interviews

The Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Branch Chief Kwon Gu-hyung) held the ‘December Job Demand Day’ at the Gimhae Employment Center’s permanent recruitment hall on the 6th.

‘Job Demand Day’ means ‘a day connecting companies and job seekers,’ and it is operated in various ways at employment centers nationwide according to the industrial characteristics of each region.

The Gimhae Employment Center started operating ‘Job Demand Day’ from November 2023, holding a total of 23 sessions with 44 companies participating, providing on-site interview opportunities to 520 job seekers.

The Gimhae Employment Center also collaborates with local job-related organizations to operate the program, conducts company site visits through youth employment buses, and offers job briefings and employment consulting on-site. Additionally, through relay recruitment events by industry in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, it has helped resolve labor shortages in key local industries.

At this recruitment event, Samyang Foods directly participated at the Gimhae Employment Center’s permanent recruitment hall to hire young job seekers who will work in Miryang. This event was conducted as part of a metropolitan job matching service connecting companies in Miryang with labor shortages and young job seekers in Gimhae with insufficient job opportunities.

Before the recruitment event, Inje University’s University Job Plus Center provided interview consulting to strengthen the capabilities of job seekers participating in the interviews, and the HR manager of Samyang Foods offered a job briefing session before the interviews to provide helpful information.

Branch Chief Kwon Gu-hyung said, “We will provide local youth with opportunities to work at better companies, and strengthen collaboration with local job-related organizations to discover various youth support projects.”
