Gyeonggi Paju City (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 6th that it has discovered a total of 174 companies and created 82 jobs this year through the project “Diving into Companies! Paju City Job Discovery Team,” which involves directly visiting local companies to uncover hidden job opportunities.
Since February, the city has been promoting the “Diving into Companies! Paju City Job Discovery Team” project to discover jobs tailored to the characteristics of the region.
The main activities of the Job Discovery Team include ▲obtaining recruitment information and connecting job seekers through company discovery ▲supporting participation in Job Center recruitment support services ▲promoting Paju City’s job policies and the Job Center. In particular, the team focused on discovering local companies not registered with the Job Center. After discovering companies, they identified the recruitment needs of the companies and connected customized jobs between companies and job seekers, focusing on increasing employment rates.
Additionally, the discovered companies were encouraged to participate in Job Center recruitment support events such as the 2024 Bigger Job Fair, Job Matching Days, and regular interviews. Through this, companies were relieved of the burden of hiring personnel, and job seekers were able to access more job opportunities.
Lee I-gu, Director of the Job Economy Division, stated, “Next year, we will continue to promote the Job Discovery Team project to discover quality jobs for citizens and increase employment rates through the placement of customized talent.”
