'Saessak Station' is a project promoted by Osan City during its 8th mayoral term to prevent safety accidents that may occur during the drop-off and pick-up process of infants and children living in apartments and other multi-family housing. Children and parents can wait for drop-off and pick-up vehicles while avoiding cold, heat, snow, rain, and fine dust, and can ensure safety from various hazardous environments such as rear vehicles.
About 20 people, including Osan Mayor Lee Gwon-jae and residents of Wondong Prugio Apartments, attended the opening ceremony that day. Mayor Lee said, "I hope that with the installation of Saessak Station, children can use drop-off and pick-up vehicles more conveniently and safely," adding, "We will continue to promote projects that come one step closer to the citizens."
