Yangsan-si Holds Special Workshop for Executives and Employees of Social Economy Enterprises

On the 5th, Yangsan City in Gyeongnam successfully held the '2024 Yangsan City Social Economy Enterprises Workshop' at the M Convention Seminar Hall (Jasmine Hall).

This event was organized for the executives and employees of social economy enterprises in Yangsan City to strengthen solidarity with the local community and create networking opportunities among enterprises.

The workshop began with a recreational activity led by Cha Young-rye, CEO of the social enterprise 'Gyoyuk Munhwa Narae.' This activity promoted communication and interaction among executives and employees, further providing an opportunity for social economy enterprise stakeholders to share their experiences and know-how, fostering cooperation.

In the subsequent lecture and discussion session, Park Young-jin, head of the Daegu Social Economy Support Center, led a discussion on 'Social Economy and Local Community Solidarity Measures.'

This session provided insights on the so-called 'solidarity economy,' which involves effectively integrating social economy enterprises with the local community, offering methods for the sustainable development of Yangsan's social economy enterprises and the local community.

A Yangsan City official stated, “Through this event, we were able to reaffirm the importance of solidarity for the joint growth of social economy enterprises and the local community within the city,” adding, “Yangsan City will continue to strive to revitalize the social economy.”
