Yeongdeok Daehan Handon Association Donates 470kg of Pork to Basic Food Bank

The Daehan Pork Association Yeongdeok County Branch donated 470 kg of pork worth 5 million won to the Yeongdeok County Basic Food Bank on the 5th to practice a culture of sharing at the end of the year.

The donated pork will be evenly distributed to vulnerable households such as elderly living alone, disabled persons, and grandparent-headed families in the region, as well as to eup/myeon office happiness pantries, child welfare facilities, facilities for the disabled, and elderly welfare facilities.

Lee Jong-hae, head of the Daehan Pork Association Yeongdeok County Branch, said, “I hope this will be of some help to neighbors struggling with the upcoming cold weather,” and added, “I hope the warm hearts of the Pork Association members are well conveyed, and we will continue to hold sharing events that practice love for neighbors.”
