DL E&C announced on the 6th that it held an open innovation performance report meeting at the D-Tower Donuimun building on the 5th.
Earlier, DL E&C, together with the Seoul Business Agency, a small and medium-sized enterprise support organization under the Seoul Metropolitan Government, held an open innovation contest in June to discover startups with innovative technologies and business ideas. Since then, it has been conducting technology verification with the three startups that were finally selected. In addition, one startup selected in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology also shared the results of the technology verification at the performance report meeting and reviewed the possibility of collaboration with the business division and future investment linkage.
The startups participating in the performance report meeting were Conwos (3D virtualization and efficient data management), Monet Korea (Internet of Things (IoT) smart measurement solutions), Saeim (smart artificial intelligence (AI) safety and health education system), and Glotech (Building Information Modeling (BIM)-based quantity and construction cost calculation automation system). The startup attendees presented their core technologies, the results of this open innovation, and their future growth roadmaps.
A DL E&C official said, "Many startups with innovative technologies and fresh ideas participated, and the technology verification process was a time to confirm the practical applicability of the new technologies each company is developing," adding, "We will discover and support promising startups and build a win-win partnership to grow together with DL E&C."
