InnoVex Secures 4.1 Billion KRW Order for Secondary Battery Testing Equipment

InnoVex announced on the 6th that it has secured an order for secondary battery testing inspection equipment (cyclers) from a global secondary battery manufacturer. The contract is worth 4.1 billion KRW, which accounts for 43% of last year's sales.

InnoVex plans to supply and install the ordered inspection equipment in the first half of next year. The company intends to deliver more efficient equipment by applying technology that is one step improved compared to the products previously supplied to various customers. InnoVex's inspection equipment can be applied and operated for pouch-type, prismatic, and cylindrical batteries. This provides the advantage of being able to market to a wider range of customers compared to competitors.

The strength of InnoVex's equipment lies in the design of a high-efficiency power conversion module. They designed a high-efficiency power conversion module and applied the industry's first modular design for charging and discharging channels. This allows testing of more batteries compared to equipment of the same size from competitors. Additionally, remote control and integrated management solutions have been established to enable real-time management.

A company representative stated, "We have already proven our technology and competitiveness by supplying secondary battery inspection equipment to major domestic corporations," and added, "This is a meaningful order amid the stagnation of the domestic secondary battery equipment market caused by the electric vehicle chasm (a temporary demand slowdown before mass adoption)." The representative also emphasized, "We will definitely achieve a transfer listing to KOSDAQ by 2026."
