Yoo In-chon, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, held a meeting with employees at 2 p.m. on the 5th in the main auditorium of Building 15 at the Government Sejong Complex, urging them to carry out their duties steadfastly despite uncertain external circumstances.

This meeting was organized to refresh the unsettled internal atmosphere caused by the emergency martial law situation and to check public service discipline to ensure that policy implementation proceeds without disruption.
At the meeting, Minister Yoo emphasized, "There may be difficulties in implementing policies due to current external conditions, but especially at times like these, we must communicate sincerely and wholeheartedly with the field and convey the government's genuine policies and intentions to the public." He also encouraged the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be a source of strength and comfort to the people through culture and the arts.

Minister Yoo reiterated the importance of closely communicating with the travel and performance industries to ensure that international cooperation opportunities, such as the 'Korea-Japan Tourism Business Forum' and the 'Korea-China-Japan Sports Ministers Meeting' scheduled for December, proceed smoothly, fulfilling the government's role.
Furthermore, Minister Yoo encouraged the ministry to fulfill its fundamental role, stating, "The essence and ultimate goal of cultural policy is to practically improve the quality of life of the people and change their lifestyles."
The meeting lasted about two hours, providing employees with an opportunity to review achievements over the past year and to carefully plan for the start of the next year. Minister Yoo announced that, following a full cancellation of external schedules due to the emergency martial law situation and focusing on internal situation assessment, external activities will resume from the 6th.
