Gwangju Bank (President Ko Byung-il) announced on the 5th that it was selected as an outstanding case at the '2024 Banking Sector Management Consulting Presentation for Self-Employed and Small Business Owners,' recently hosted by the Korea Federation of Banks.

This selection as an outstanding case is unique among regional banks and marks the third consecutive year of achievement, recognizing Gwangju Bank as a leading regional financial institution practicing win-win management.

At this outstanding case presentation, Gwangju Bank had two cases selected: 'Youth Startup Support Education' and 'Customized Financial Consulting for Women-Operated Businesses.' It is analyzed that the inclusive finance center's 'One-Stop Comprehensive Financial Consultation,' which has been supported since November 2019, played a significant role. The Gwangju Bank Inclusive Finance Center provides various support such as offering financial solutions tailored to customer situations and proposing management consulting to improve the business environment and increase sales for small business owners. Additionally, it signed an interest support business agreement with Buk-gu, Gwangju City, helping to alleviate the financial burden of small business owners sustaining their livelihoods amid difficult economic conditions.
