120 Export and Logistics Companies and Over 150 Participants Attend on the 4th
Consultation on How to Use Global Logistics Centers and Customs Clearance
Busan Port Authority (BPA) successfully concluded an overseas logistics center briefing session held on the 4th at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal (BPEX) to support the export activities of Korean companies.
The event, which introduced the four logistics centers operated by BPA in Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United States, attracted high interest with over 150 participants from 120 export and logistics companies.
BPA also conducted individual consultations for pre-registered companies regarding how to use the logistics centers, available support, and local customs clearance.
The four logistics centers are located in Rotterdam and Barcelona (Europe), East Java in Indonesia (Southeast Asia), and LA/LB (United States).
Kang Jun-seok, President of BPA, stated, “In a situation where the global supply chain crisis is intensifying due to the Middle East and Ukraine conflicts and the US-China trade dispute, the overseas logistics centers secured by BPA behind major ports will serve as a reliable catalyst supporting the export logistics of our companies.”
Company representatives who could not attend the briefing in person can check the regional presentation materials on the Busan Port Authority website under Major Projects - Overseas Port & Logistics Projects bulletin board.
