Rapper E Sens (real name Kang Min-ho, 37) voiced criticism of President Yoon Suk-yeol's declaration of martial law.

On the 5th, E Sens posted his thoughts on his social media account regarding the emergency martial law situation. He said, "I am a fool who knows nothing about politics, parties, or left and right," but questioned, "Isn't it wrong for someone who suddenly declares martial law at dawn and says they will 'eliminate' the people to be our country's president?" He continued, "If this martial law had not been invalidated and had gone according to Yoon Suk-yeol's will, wouldn't we all have been censored and eliminated? I am dumbfounded even after waking up," expressing his bewilderment.

Earlier, President Yoon declared martial law through an emergency national address around 10:28 p.m. on the 3rd. Following this, martial law troops gathered at the National Assembly and attempted to enter the main building around midnight, leading to clashes with Secretariat staff and party aides who tried to block them. Subsequently, a motion to lift the martial law was passed through a plenary session, and the government lifted the martial law at 4:30 a.m. after a Cabinet meeting. On the afternoon of the 4th, six opposition parties including the Democratic Party gathered at the National Assembly Secretariat in Yeouido, Seoul, to submit an impeachment motion against President Yoon. However, the People Power Party decided at a party meeting on the 5th to oppose the impeachment motion, while the Democratic Party is reportedly planning to push for a vote on the 7th.

Meanwhile, E Sens began his career in earnest after winning a hip-hop competition in Daegu in 2002 and joining the crew 'Hiphop Train.' He gained recognition from listeners through several mixtape albums and formed the group Supreme Team with Simon Dominic in 2007. They released popular songs such as "Back Then Back Then Back Then," "Ddaeng Ddaeng Ddaeng," "Why," and "Without Me Knowing," receiving great love. However, E Sens was prosecuted by the prosecution in 2011 on charges of marijuana use, leading to a temporary halt in his activities. He was sentenced to one year and two months in prison with a two-year probation, but in 2014, he was again booked without detention for purchasing marijuana from an overseas marijuana sales website and smoking it. It is known that he admitted all charges during the trial, was sentenced to one year and six months in prison, began serving his sentence, and was released in October 2016 after completing his term.
