On the 5th, the event planning company Rivet announced that YOASOBI will hold a concert on the 7th and 8th at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon, and will meet their Korean fans as planned.

Ahead of the performance, YOASOBI said, "We want to go meet those who have been waiting for us in Korea as soon as possible," adding, "The memory of fans singing along with us at the last concert is still vivid. Some understood Japanese, and others held message boards cheering for us, which left a strong impression."

YOASOBI is a band that sparked a global phenomenon with the opening song "Idol (アイドル)" of the Japanese animation "Oshi no Ko." Following a sold-out first Asia tour, they also sold out concerts in Los Angeles and San Francisco, creating a sensation. Riding this momentum, they appeared at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Lollapalooza Chicago.

YOASOBI, who gained tremendous popularity in Korea as well, rapidly emerged as the leading figure of the J-pop wave. Their first visit to Korea last year sold out instantly, prompting an urgent increase in the number of shows. At the 2024 Melon Music Awards held on the 30th of last month, they received the J-pop Favorite Artist award.

YOASOBI expressed their gratitude, saying, "The venue is larger than the last concert, and we are truly thankful that even more people are coming."

NewJeans (on the 7th) and AKMU (on the 8th) will appear as guest performers to energize the stage. YOASOBI said, "We are very honored that AKMU and NewJeans will join our concert as guests." They have a special connection with both groups. YOASOBI explained, "We have had meals together or watched live performances with AKMU when we visited Korea before, and NewJeans appeared as guests at our concert held at Tokyo Dome. We asked them to appear as guests again this time, and we are really happy that these two wonderful groups are lending their support."

The theme of the concert is "Surreal." YOASOBI said about this concert, "It carries the meaning of hoping that people will have a stimulating experience beyond reality," and expressed their anticipation, saying, "We believe you will have an exhilarating experience beyond reality through the concert."
