The council will hold its inaugural general meeting in January next year with the participation of 27 economic organizations and associations. It also plans to hold regular meetings every six months and ad hoc meetings to address economic issues, aiming to share difficulties, present joint opinions, propose policies and implementation plans, and strengthen networks and information exchange among economic organizations and associations.
Park Ju-bong, chairman of the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, "There are limits to individual organizations' responses amid rapidly changing economic conditions. The Incheon Economic Organizations Council will serve as a focal point to strengthen networks among local economic organizations and associations and seek practical cooperation to solve common challenges."
