On the 5th, SK C&C carried out an organizational restructuring and executive appointments to actively implement artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, aiming to lead its clients' AI and digital innovation.
This restructuring focused on strengthening a customer-centric business execution system, enhancing technological expertise, and flexibly responding to changes in the digital market.
SK C&C established a customer-oriented business execution system based on industry-specific value chains to quickly respond to technological and market changes centered on AI and digital, supporting clients' business model innovation.
First, in line with the rapid AI digital transformation of the information and communication technology (ICT) industry, the company reorganized the existing ICT service business organization and AI Transformation (AT) business organization to create the newly established 'AT Service Division.'
Through this, it broadly supports AI-based business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) business innovation for ICT clients. By maximizing integration and synergy between AI services and related ICT services, it plans to accelerate the execution speed of digital transformation tasks for group member companies.
Across all business divisions, the customer-dedicated account organization and business execution delivery organization were reorganized into a functional matrix structure. This strengthens efficient business execution and rapid response systems based on each specialization.
The 'Hi-Tech Business Division' established an integrated support system targeting all processes in the semiconductor field and material-related clients. The 'Manufacturing & Global Business Division' integrates domestic and overseas manufacturing businesses and reorganized its system to simultaneously promote global business expansion based on accumulated experience and expertise in manufacturing business execution.
External business support by various industries such as finance, distribution, logistics, and services, as well as solution-based businesses, are collectively handled by the 'Finance & Strategic Business Division' and the 'Enterprise Service Division' to maximize business execution efficiency.
The newly established 'AT & DT Business Division' consolidates the group's AI and digital transformation capabilities to strengthen the digital competitiveness of group member companies and rapidly expand discovered AI B2B use cases into external businesses. Through this, it aims to position itself as a leader in digital transformation and AI innovation projects.
Additionally, SK C&C conducted executive appointments focused on field and technology expertise to strengthen customer industry specialization. A total of seven executives were newly appointed this year, composed of talents who will work closely with customers and lead digital innovation outcomes.
