On the same day, during the full meeting of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee, Jo responded to a question from Han Byung-do, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, who asked, "Who gave the order to block?"

Jo said, "It was an unprecedented and chaotic situation," adding, "Initially, there was full control, but after 19 minutes, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Chief said there was no legal authority, so we allowed regular access to the National Assembly."

The commander of the National Assembly Security Unit stated, "We acted according to the command network of the Seoul Police."

Representative Han criticized, "The Republic of Korea has been completely destroyed because of one person, Yoon Seok-yeol," and said, "How do you think our citizens and democratic citizens around the world viewed armed special forces entering the National Assembly, carrying guns, and breaking windows to get inside?"
