On that day, the two organizations signed the business agreement and promised to promote mutual exchange and collaborative projects to provide social welfare enhancement services to the elderly in the community using urban agriculture and healing agriculture, ensuring that vulnerable groups can lead safe and happy lives.
According to this agreement, the "Yangju Agricultural Technology Center" will support urban agriculture managers who can operate urban agriculture and healing agriculture programs and connect them with rural healing farms, while the "Yangju Hope Senior Welfare Center" will cooperate to recruit participants and ensure the smooth execution of the project.
A Yangju city official stated, "As the elderly population continues to increase, the importance of urban agriculture and healing agriculture programs utilizing agricultural and rural resources is growing," and added, "We deeply thank the officials of the Yangju Hope Senior Welfare Center who joined us here to help alleviate social isolation among the elderly and create a healthy Yangju City."
