Cheonan City Council Member from Democratic Party Urges Yoon Suk-yeol to Resign for Undermining History with Martial Law Declaration

Members of the Democratic Party of Korea in the Cheonan City Council, Chungnam, have called for the resignation of President Yoon Suk-yeol, who declared martial law.

On the 5th, they held a press conference at the Cheonan City Hall briefing room, stating, "President Yoon attempted to immobilize the entire nation under the name of martial law," and pointed out, "This is a grave situation that tramples on the constitutional history of the Republic of Korea."

They continued, "The judgment of history is clear, and the clock of history is ticking even at this very moment. The lesson history has taught us?'Falsehood perishes and truth prevails'?is undeniable," and called for President Yoon's voluntary resignation.
