Busan Port Authority Conducts Public Vote on Top 10 Achievements of Busan Port This Year

Direct Public Participation, Selection of Excellence at Busan Port

Busan Port Authority (BPA) will select the ‘Top 10 Achievements of Busan Port in 2024’ through an online public vote to actively share the excellent achievements of Busan Port this year.

This vote, conducted to expand public interest and participation in Busan Port, features a total of 15 major achievements as candidates, including ‘Opening of the nation’s first fully automated terminal,’ ‘Record-breaking cargo volume of 24.4 million TEU,’ and ‘21 consecutive years of profitable management since establishment.’ The results will be announced through the website and other channels.

The online voting, held for seven days from December 5 to 11, will be conducted by selecting three candidates through the BPA website’s notice and popup. Among the participants, 100 people will be randomly selected to receive coffee gifticons.

Kang Jun-seok, President of Busan Port Authority, said, “We have prepared the third annual public vote this year to share and communicate the achievements of BPA throughout the year with the public.” He added, “Reflecting the voting results, we will continue to communicate the major achievements of Busan Port and BPA with the public.”
