Strengthening Support for New Public Officials' Adaptation to Public Service through Enhanced Expertise of Regional Training Officers
Expansion of Standardized Regional Job Academy Programs for New Public Officials
Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) will conduct a capacity-building training session on the 5th for new public official training officers at the Education Support Offices. This is intended to alleviate the workload that new public officials face immediately upon appointment and to help them form broad social networks.

The training content includes ▲Trends and key issues in the evolving Human Resource Development (HRD) ▲2025 operational direction for regional research and learning organizations of the Provincial Office of Education ▲Learning design for learning facilitators ▲Collaborative training design.
The Provincial Office of Education plans to expand the job academy currently operated in 25 Education Support Offices to include a standard program for new public officials in 2025 as well as customized job and emotional support (mentoring).
Additionally, through this training operation, the Provincial Office of Education aims to assist new public officials in adapting stably to public service, strengthen the capabilities of new public official officers by region, and actively promote education programs for new public officials centered on the Education Support Offices.
Gu Soon-yi, Director of the Administrative Capacity Policy Division at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, “We will strive to ensure that the standard education program for new public officials at the regional level and the customized job and emotional support teams operate stably,” adding, “We will seek various support measures so that new public officials do not fear the tasks they face and can adapt flexibly to public service.”
