Regarding the impeachment motion against President Yoon Sukyeol related to the martial law situation proposed by the six opposition parties, Kim Taeheum, Governor of Chungnam, stated, "The People Power Party and the Yoon Sukyeol administration are facing a bitterly cold snowstorm," and added, "We must prevent the division of the party at all costs."
On the 5th, Governor Kim wrote on social media, "In the process of confronting the Democratic Party and resolving difficult issues, the most important and precious thing above any choice is the unity of the party."
He continued, "Whatever choice is made, it is better than the party being divided," and emphasized, "The division of the party is the worst possible choice."
He added, "No matter what happens, we must prevent the division of the party."
