Providing Food Safety Information for Major Export Countries to Food Companies
Supporting Digital Transformation
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 5th that it has signed a business agreement with the Food Safety Information Service to promote food company exports and support digital transformation.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will establish a cooperative system to provide domestic food export companies with information on import food safety standards and specifications of major overseas countries, and jointly identify and intensively support companies with digital transformation needs.
The main agreement items include ▲ establishing a collaborative system for policy projects to promote food company exports ▲ supporting digital transformation in the food industry such as smart manufacturing sites and the introduction of smart food QR management systems ▲ sharing policy information to enhance competitiveness in the food sector ▲ mutual cooperation and promotion to improve the safety management of domestic food.
Kang Seok-jin, Director of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “This agreement will be an important stepping stone to lead the digital innovation of companies engaged in the food industry and to achieve sustainable growth and global competitiveness of the food industry,” adding, “We will spare no effort to support our companies in securing new growth engines by raising the status of K-Food.”
