This sharing meeting was an opportunity to look back on the path taken vigorously for Paju City welfare throughout 2024. Members from the representative council (31 members), working council (33 members), working subcommittees (8 subcommittees, 113 members), and eup/myeon/dong community social security councils (19 locations, 328 members) encouraged each other, shared achievements made for Paju City welfare, and promised to continue their efforts in 2025.

Following this, presentations were made on subcommittee activation projects, including the ▲‘Survey on Health Management Support for Social Welfare Facility Workers in Paju City’ conducted by the Regional Infrastructure Subcommittee, and the progress report on the ▲‘Creating a Safe Care Village in Paju’ promoted by the Adult Care Subcommittee and Protection and Safety Subcommittee, which were directly carried out by the members on the ground.

Additionally, the ‘Geumchon 3-dong Community Social Security Council,’ which was selected as the grand prize winner in the 2024 eup/myeon/dong specialized project evaluation, shared how the eup/myeon/dong community social security councils perform their roles as local community protection systems and what achievements they have made through presentations of outstanding activity cases.

Kim Jin-gi, Deputy Mayor of Paju City, said, “We deeply reflect on the footprints of the members who worked hard for the development of local welfare, and the efforts made together with local residents will be a great driving force for the welfare development of Paju City.” He added, “Paju City will continue to strive for welfare development in 2025.”
