"Hope Storytelling Power Works Beyond Platform Boundaries"
The Disney+ original series "Moving," which was a global hit last year, is coming to your living room.
Walt Disney Company Korea announced on the 5th that it will air on MBC from the 22nd of this month until next month. CEO Kim So-yeon said, "We hope this collaboration will serve as an opportunity to demonstrate the power of strong storytelling beyond platform boundaries," adding, "We will continue to explore ways to introduce and share Disney's unique storytelling and diverse content with more people."
"Moving" tells the story of children hiding superpowers and parents living with painful secrets from their past. The original work is a webtoon of the same name by artist Kang Full. With well-structured storytelling, solid casting, and spectacular direction, it gained worldwide popularity.
It ranked first in viewing time during the first week of release on Disney+ in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other regions. Captivating viewers until the final episode, it topped the global Disney+ local content category last year.
Kang Full, who has already begun developing season 2, said, "It is an honor to introduce the work on terrestrial broadcasting as well."
"Moving" will air 8 episodes on MBC from the 22nd to the 24th. Next month, two episodes will be broadcast every Sunday night.
