Wonju City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Won Gang-su) announced that Elite Trotman Gong Hoon, the promotional ambassador of Wonju City, generously donated 5 million won on the 4th at the Wonju Mayor's office to revitalize the Wonju Hometown Love Donation Program.

The Wonju Hometown Love Donation Program is entering its second year this year, and a generous wave of donations from many people wishing for the development of Wonju continues.
Singer Gong Hoon was born in Wonju and grew up listening to trot lullabies sung by his grandmother when he was young. He has won various awards at numerous music festivals, earning nicknames such as ‘Grand Prize Collector’ and ‘Elite Trotman.’
Won Gang-su, mayor of Wonju, said, “We express our deep gratitude to Elite Trotman Gong Hoon,” adding, “We hope this donation will promote the Wonju Hometown Love Donation Program nationwide and inject vitality into it.”
Meanwhile, Elite Trotman Gong Hoon continues to show his affection for his hometown Wonju and takes the lead in promoting Wonju by performing nationwide as the city’s promotional ambassador.
