'Namdalla' Park Sung-hyun Donates 50 Million Won to Korea University Medical Center

Park Sung-hyun, who is about to return to the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour, recently donated 50 million won to Korea University Medical Center to be used for medical expenses for underprivileged groups, together with her fan cafe ‘Namdalla.’ She has been receiving treatment and rehabilitation at Korea University Anam Hospital. After hearing that many patients are unable to receive timely treatment due to financial difficulties, she decided to donate again this year following her contribution in 2021. This time, the fan club members also contributed money, making the donation even more meaningful.

Park Sung-hyun said, "I am honored to donate to Korea University Anam Hospital, which helped me with rehabilitation, and I am especially happy to be able to deliver the precious hearts voluntarily gathered by the fan cafe members. I hope this small gesture brings warm hope and comfort to underprivileged patients who cannot receive treatment due to financial difficulties." Yoon Eul-sik, Vice President of Medical Affairs, said, "We sincerely thank Park Sung-hyun, who has promoted Korea’s name worldwide as a world-class golfer, and the fan cafe members. We will use this donation carefully for patients suffering from illnesses."

Park Sung-hyun debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2017 and has won a total of seven tournaments, including two major championships. She took a medical leave from the LPGA Tour this year due to injury. She is recovering from her injury and preparing to return to the U.S. stage next year.
