Gumi Urban Corporation Conducts 'Love Kimchi Sharing' Volunteer Activity

Sharing Warmth Together for Vulnerable Groups

On the 3rd, the Rainbow Volunteer Group and employees of Gumi Urban Corporation in Gyeongbuk carried out a 'Love Kimchi Sharing' volunteer activity to mark the end of the year.

This kimchi-making volunteer social contribution activity was organized by the Rainbow Volunteer Group of Gumi Urban Corporation (led by Lee Jeong-min), where the corporation's employees came together to make kimchi and share it with marginalized neighbors and vulnerable groups in the community.

The kimchi, carefully prepared by the employees of Gumi Urban Corporation, was delivered to the Gumi Catholic Workers' Cultural Center, Seongsim Nursing Home, Gumi City Short-Term Youth Shelter for Boys and Girls, Geumo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and Residential Shelter for the Disabled.

Lee Jae-woong, president of Gumi Urban Corporation, said, “We hope that this small gesture for neighbors who may be marginalized in the region will help them have a warm winter. Although it is a small act of sharing, we hope our hands reach those in need, and we will continue to take the lead in sharing and volunteer activities that deliver warm energy.”
