The city previously signed a related design service contract with Korea IT Consulting in August and held a kickoff report meeting in September. This service is scheduled to be completed by January next year.
Through this service, the city expects to significantly resolve practical limitations such as ▲the constraints of 24-hour response due to professional personnel and budget ▲inconvenient complaints caused by the inability to immediately check counseling progress ▲the absence of regularization of counseling data.
Shim Jeong-sik, head of Hwaseong City Western Public Health Center, said, "We will successfully introduce AI technology to the suicide prevention market hotline through this service," adding, "Through this, we will be able to establish a 24/7 customized mental health management infrastructure for citizens."
