Joint Seminar on Middle East Export for SMEs in Bu-Ul-Gyeong Region
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Kim Kyunghwan) jointly held the ‘Middle East Buyer Discovery Seminar for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Regions’ at the Busan International Finance Center to strengthen the Middle East export competitiveness of export SMEs in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam areas.
HF Corporation organized this seminar through the ‘Public-Private-Civil Collaboration SME Export Support Agreement’ signed last July with the Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, four public institutions in the Busan area, the Busan International Finance Promotion Agency, and Hana Bank.
The four public institutions are the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation, Korea Southern Power, and Korea Asset Management Corporation.
The main topics included ▲ Practical training on discovering Middle East buyers using AI platforms ▲ Understanding Middle East exports and agent contracts ▲ Strategies for preventing and responding to SME technology leakage.
An HF Corporation official stated, “We hope this seminar provides various educational opportunities to local SMEs considering entry into the Middle East, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and helping them understand the Middle East market,” adding, “The corporation will continue to take the lead in preparing various programs to support local SMEs.”
