GH Forms Advisory Committee on Jeonse Damage... 10 Experts from Various Fields Participate

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has formed a Jeonse Damage Advisory Committee.

On the 4th, GH announced that it established the "Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Advisory Committee" within the Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Support Center to hear expert opinions and policy proposals related to Jeonse fraud and to receive advice on the direction of the Jeonse Damage Support Center's operations.

The advisory committee is chaired by Seo Jong-gyun, former president of the Housing Management Corporation, and includes 10 experts from various fields such as Lim Chang-hwi, Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member, Park Areum, lawyer at Jipyung Law Firm, and Kwon Ji-ung, head of the Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Support Center.

The advisory committee held its first meeting on the 3rd and received a report on the operation and current projects of the Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Support Center. They also listened to proposals from the victim group "National Countermeasures Committee for Jeonse Victims," including expanding the stock of public rental housing and providing effective support for damaged housing.

Furthermore, they exchanged broad opinions on institutional improvements such as the Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Support Ordinance (draft), enhancing the legal counseling level of the Jeonse Damage Support Center, and measures to prevent Jeonse fraud.

Over the next year, the advisory committee will engage in in-depth discussions and policy proposals to support and prevent Jeonse fraud damage among Gyeonggi residents.
