On the 4th, Gumi City in Gyeongbuk held a delivery ceremony for 'LG Love Sharing Kimchi' totaling 13,000 kg (6,400 heads, worth 60 million KRW) at the International Trade Cooperation Office of the City Hall, together with the LG Gyeongbuk Council (Chairman Moon Hyuk-su).

This event was organized with the purpose of supporting local LG sister companies (LG Electronics, LG Display, LG Innotek, Farm Hannong) to help neighbors in need in the region have a warmer winter. In particular, kimchi made by local companies using regional agricultural products will be purchased and distributed to 77 social welfare facilities and 160 low-income vulnerable households.
The LG Gyeongbuk Council stated, "Every year-end, we contribute to helping vulnerable groups get through the winter through kimchi sharing events," and added, "We will continue to realize social value through ongoing sharing activities."
Mayor Kim Jang-ho said, "We are grateful to LG Electronics, LG Display, LG Innotek, and Farm Hannong for consistently practicing warm sharing every year," and added, "Gumi City will also create a happier and better place to live through careful consideration for neighbors in need."
The LG Gyeongbuk Council has delivered about 90,000 heads of kimchi over 11 years since 2014 through year-end kimchi sharing, warmly supporting vulnerable groups in the region during winter.
