Establishment of Neulbom School Operation Plan and Contract Support
In-person Training and Remote Consultation Conducted Until the 8th
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) will strengthen on-site support for Neulbom School to ensure its stable operation next year.
In particular, support will focus on areas where Neulbom and administrative staff find difficulties, such as establishing Neulbom School operation plans, instructor and vendor consignment contracts, and accounting management.
From the 3rd to the 5th, face-to-face training will be held at the Ulsan Education Research and Information Center, and from the 6th to the 18th, one-on-one remote consultations will be conducted via phone or SNS.
About 120 Neulbom and administrative staff from elementary and special schools will participate in this training and consultation.
The Ulsan Office of Education recently appointed a Neulbom School support team consisting of 17 after-school field experts (9 teachers and 8 educational administrative staff). The support team will assist in composing diverse and high-quality programs tailored to each school's characteristics and provide practical help on-site.
Starting next year, as after-school duties are separated from teachers' responsibilities, the Ulsan Office of Education will actively support minimizing potential work gaps at schools and ensuring the operation of high-quality after-school programs that satisfy students and parents.
Next year, Neulbom Schools in the Ulsan area will operate Dodam Dodam (a free 2-hour program for 1st and 2nd graders), elective education programs (existing after-school programs), elective care programs (existing elementary care classrooms), and morning and evening Neulbom programs based on demand.
An official from the Ulsan Office of Education said, “We will do our best to create Neulbom Schools that satisfy both students and parents through customized support considering the characteristics of each school.”
