First, the city plans to operate an emergency transportation countermeasures situation room from the 4th by forming an emergency response team consisting of 30 members in 10 groups, including a general countermeasure team and a transportation support team, led by the Director of the Road Traffic Bureau.

During the strike period, the city plans to encourage taxi operations, concentrate bus dispatches during commuting hours if necessary, and deploy reserve buses to reduce inconvenience and congestion for citizens.

Additionally, the city will use various promotional media such as social networking services (SNS), announcements in apartment complexes, bus information displays, and electronic signboards to inform citizens about the strike and the use of alternative transportation methods, aiming to minimize inconvenience.

Meanwhile, if the strike actually takes place, the operation rates are expected to decrease compared to normal times as follows: ▲KTX 66.7%, ▲regular trains (Saemaeul and Mugunghwa) 58.3% to 62.2%, and ▲freight trains 21.6%. In particular, for metropolitan trains (Gyeongui and Jungang lines), some trains will not operate during commuting hours, and overall operation is expected to be at about 60% even during normal times, which is anticipated to cause inconvenience to citizens.

Paju City advised citizens to check departure times by inquiring at the respective stations or using subway information apps when using the metropolitan trains.
