Sculptural Decorations and Christmas Tree Installed at Charming Garden in Front of District Office... Open Until January 31, 2025
Sharing Warmth Among Neighbors and Wishing for Residents' Well-being for Christmas and New Year
On the 3rd, Guro-gu held a Christmas tree lighting ceremony to celebrate Christmas and the year-end holidays.
This event was organized for residents to come together, share warm feelings at the end of the year, and wish for each other's well-being.
Before the lighting ceremony, a service was held in the auditorium on the 5th floor of the district office, attended by about 100 people including Eom Euisik, Acting Mayor of Guro-gu, members of the Guro-gu Parish Council, the Guro-gu Shinwoo Association, and related staff.
Following this, the lighting ceremony held at the small park in front of the district office brightly illuminated the area around Maeryeok Garden.
The area around Maeryeok Garden was filled with installed Christmas decorations and light sculptures, and through a greeting from Eom Euisik, Acting Mayor of Guro-gu, a message of hope and love for the year-end and New Year was conveyed.
The district plans to keep the lit Christmas tree on display until January 31, 2025, continuing the warm Christmas atmosphere.
A Guro-gu official said, “This Christmas tree lighting ceremony was prepared with the heartfelt wish for the health and happiness of all residents,” adding, “We hope the Christmas tree that will color Guro-gu remains a precious memory.”
