The Central Economic Work Conference Scheduled for Next Week... Discussion on Next Year's Growth Targets and Stimulus Measures

According to Bloomberg News, China plans to discuss the 2025 economic goals and stimulus measures during the two-day closed-door meeting next week.

The meeting will be attended by China's top leadership, including President Xi Jinping, as well as senior officials from financial authorities. The Central Economic Work Conference determines the direction of economic policies, including next year's economic growth rate. Since the meeting is held behind closed doors, China does not announce the schedule, and the fact that the meeting took place is likely to be revealed afterward through the official state media "Gongbao," which publishes the outcomes. The announcement of next year's growth targets will also come not from the meeting's outcomes but through the National People's Congress (NPC) in March next year.

Bloomberg reported that despite U.S. President Donald Trump's announced tariff war, there is strong expectation that China will discuss setting next year's growth target around 5%, similar to this year.
