The video about peonies uploaded on the YouTube channel operated by the plant specialty brand Sejong Plant Garden has garnered 120,000 views and over 1,800 likes. Considering that plant-related videos generally receive relatively less attention, this is a hot response. In the video, Shin Jung-woo, CEO of Sejong Plant Garden, appears in person to provide basic explanations about peonies and share three tips for growing them at the seedling stage.
The Sejong Plant Garden YouTube channel has gained a reputation among plant cultivation enthusiasts as a must-subscribe channel. Sejong Plant Garden is an agricultural corporation that supplies various seedlings and garden trees to institutions such as the National Arboretum, the National Plant Garden, and the Forestry Cooperative. They handle over 1,000 types of plants, and the number of cooperating farms under cultivation reaches about 100.
Since the end of 2022, they have launched a YouTube channel and started creating content that includes how to grow various seedlings, garden trees, and rare varieties. Through video content, they focus not only on promoting products but also on practically solving problems that subscribers face.

The Vivian Peony sold over 1,000 units in just about a month after its launch. The repurchase rate is also as high as 35%, indicating high customer satisfaction. According to Sejong Plant Garden, more than 80% of purchasing customers left positive reviews about the flower's fragrance and quality.
The integration of product purchases with content has also received positive responses from customers. Recently, Sejong Plant Garden has been utilizing Cafe24's 'YouTube Shopping Exclusive Store' feature, showcasing about 100 types of plants such as roses, poplars, and apple trees in the store tab and content within their YouTube channel. Viewers who watch videos related to peonies can click on peony products within the channel and be directed to the Sejong Plant Garden exclusive store, where they can order the products without signing up.
CEO Shin emphasized, "The YouTube Shopping Exclusive Store provides a convenient shopping environment where customers can check the actual appearance of plants while watching videos and immediately proceed to purchase. The structure that naturally connects video content to product purchases not only increases the conversion rate but also delivers appropriate plant-related knowledge, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction."
Sejong Plant Garden aims to surpass 100,000 YouTube subscribers and achieve 10% annual brand sales growth next year. To this end, they plan to launch new garden-related products early next year to meet many customers.
