Gyeonggi Gwangju Private Rental Apartment 'Dream City', New Promotion Center Opens

The private rental apartment complex ‘Dream City’ in Gyeonggi Gwangju is generating anticipation for local private rental apartments by newly opening a promotional center for the Ssangryeong-dong private rental apartments in Dongcheon-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin City.

Gyeonggi Gwangju Dream City initially opened on November 22 in Gumi-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam City, but operations were suspended due to a fire suspected to be arson.

However, Dream Housing Co., Ltd., the developer of Dream City, stated, “The promotional center site that was set on fire is currently under active investigation by the fire authorities and police. We will respond strongly through legal procedures depending on the results. We have fully restored all customer contracts, and the private rental apartment funds are safely held by the trust company.”

Following the incident, Dream City promptly opened a new promotional center in Suji-gu, Yongin City within two days to continue operations.

Gyeonggi Gwangju’s private rental apartment complex ‘Dream City’ is a large-scale private rental housing complex located nearby, planned to have a total of 1,902 households. The opening of the promotional center marks Dream City’s first public event, and it will provide reservation consultation services and various information and benefits to prospective residents going forward.

Dream City is a long-term private rental housing complex, allowing stable residence for up to 10 years. Anyone aged 19 or older can apply regardless of subscription savings, home ownership, or income level. It offers stable living at rents lower than market prices and also provides priority rights when converting to ownership in the future. Additionally, the transportation infrastructure of Ssangryeong-dong and large-scale development projects work advantageously, increasing interest in the Ssangryeong District private rental housing complex.
