Dangjin Power Plant Headquarters Donates 30 Million Won to Help Neighbors

Voluntary Donations from Employees... Support for Living Expenses and Energy Vouchers for the Vulnerable

Korea East-West Power Dangjin Power Plant Headquarters donated 30 million won to help neighbors at the opening ceremony of the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' held at the auditorium of Dangjin City Hall, Chungnam on the 2nd. /Dangjin Power Plant Headquarters

On the 2nd, Korea East-West Power Dangjin Power Headquarters delivered a donation of 30 million won to help neighbors in need at the opening ceremony of the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' held at the main auditorium of Dangjin City Hall in Chungnam.

The event, hosted by the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea, was attended by Oh Seonghwan, Mayor of Dangjin, Seong Woojong, Chairman of the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea, Kim Hunhee, Head of Dangjin Power Headquarters, and Lee Gaphee, Head of the Dangjin Branch of the Korea East-West Power Labor Union, among others.

The donation delivered by Dangjin Power Headquarters was raised voluntarily by employees every month and will be used next year to support living expenses, energy vouchers, and other forms of assistance for vulnerable groups in Dangjin who need help from the local community.

Kim Hunhee, Head of Dangjin Power Headquarters, said, "I am pleased that we were able to join the Hope Sharing Campaign again this year by gathering the heartfelt contributions of our employees," and added, "I hope that our marginalized neighbors will have a warm year-end and New Year."

Meanwhile, Dangjin Power Headquarters has been receiving a great response for its various sharing activities, such as the Kimchi Sharing of Love and providing winter blankets to households with disabilities, so that local community members can have a warm winter during the year-end season.
